For exam prep/ leading up to the VC, it would be good if you could have a go at these two things:
Practicing our responses
Try writing a more built-up response, perhaps building on the ideas you had bullet-pointed in the VC
For style make sure that you have a good handle on what the stylistic characteristics are.
Guided research- Venetian Painting
-This is research into some of the key meanings in Venetian painting.
In the VC we will start researching some of the artists from the prescription that we haven't previously touched on. These include Pontormo, Bronzino and Mategna. More about this in class.
We will also start to build up a visual repository of artworks we can use for the exams where we are allowed to select our own images (meanings and style).
Come to class with some ideas about artworks that would be suitable for the ideas you will be examined on in these exams (see a screenshot of the prescription below).
