As you join our meeting today, and we are waiting for everyone to come online, can you please add to What's on top. This is a Padlet set up to capture questions that you have and just generally where you are at with your art history and the standards you are working towards.
If you are also working towards the externals, please add images to our late renaissance artists padlet. The thought here was that we will build up a resource bank of artworks to study for the externals.
Then as always, we will share what is happening in our worlds (good thing, tricky thing or interesting thing).
I have a short presentation about different aspects of mannerism.
We'll spend a bit of time building our knowledge in the ColoritovDisegno and Mannerism Padlets. See what you can add to the discussion!
We'll spend a bit of time in a close writing exercise. This set up so that you could write from a style perspective, meanings perspective, or media and processes perspective. Either way you will be unpicking some mannerist art works.
Then we'll build a little more onto our shared Mannerist research slides.
If there is time we do a bit of style and meanings practice so that you get familiar with the exam answer format (otherwise you should definitely do this during the week so that you feel confident going into your practice exam). Media and processes people, should work on their research into art works. I've set this doc up to break down into smaller parts what you need to cover in your internal. Again if we don't get to this now, you should be working on this during the week. Remember you can ask questions and get feedback on any of these tasks at any time.
I'll check in with you all at the end of the VC, just to make sure that you are happy and on track. Let me know what you will focus on over the week before you leave please.
